Thurman is the Main Lieutenant of the Baseball Furies. He was played by Jery Hewitt.

Description[]

Thurman wears yellow and black war paint, with a white baseball uniform (grey in the game), and a black cap. He is Cobb's second-in-command.

In The Film[]

Thurman is seen in getting his baseball bat after Cyrus' death, and hearing the hit on the radio. Next, he appears again with his team, chasing the Warriors. He hits Cowboy twice and has a showdown with Ajax. He is last shown being knocked out by Ajax.

In The Game[]

Thurman appears in Home Run, which plays out rather differently than the film. Thurman also appears at the meeting in Desperate Dudes. The only big difference is the outfit he wears.

  • In the game, he shares his voice with Ghost and Apephibian.
  • Thurman wasn't named until the video game.
  • Jery Hewitt was credited as 'Baseball Furies Leader'.
  • He was probably named after the baseball player, Thurman Munson.
  • In Unleash the Fury difficulty, Swan's model is Thurman and Thurman's model is Swan.
  • His outfit is grey in the game to avoid confusion with the other Furies, and to signify his rank within the gang; all soldiers wear white, all lieutenants wear grey, and the Warlord wears black.
  • Jery Hewitt also played as a Punks member who wears Red and Black striped shirt under his overall and a black Beanie hat, and in a deleted scene of The Warriors vs The Punks, he tried to kill Rembrandt with his Knife
